Surge Fluxon Academy, operating in Japan, is the controller for personal data described here. Contact: hello@surge-fluxon.digital, +8143-592-8358, 221-1069 Imahata, Iwade-shi, Wakayama, Japan.
2. Data We Collect
We collect account details (name, email, company optional), billing contacts where applicable, learning activity metadata, communications with mentors, technical logs (IP, device, browser), and cookie data described in the Cookie Preferences page.
3. Purposes
Data is used to deliver courses, schedule sessions, improve materials, secure platforms, analyze aggregate usage, comply with law, and respond to inquiries.
4. Legal Bases
Processing relies on contract performance, legitimate interests (security, analytics with appropriate safeguards), consent where required, and legal obligations. Japanese Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) informs our practices.
5. Retention
We retain learner records while accounts are active and for statutory periods thereafter. Marketing data is kept until withdrawn. Logs rotate on a defined schedule documented internally.
6. Processors and Sharing
We use vetted processors for hosting, email, analytics (if allowed), and video conferencing. Data may be shared with corporate sponsors only when disclosed during enrollment. We do not sell personal data.
7. International Transfers
If data moves outside Japan, we implement appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent measures compatible with APPI requirements.
8. Security
We apply administrative, technical, and organizational measures including access controls, encryption in transit where supported, and staff training. No method is perfectly secure; report suspected issues promptly.
9. Your Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection. Japanese residents may contact us to exercise APPI rights. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority where available.
10. Children's Privacy
Services target adults and professional learners. We do not knowingly collect data from children without guardian consent. Contact us to remove inadvertent collection.
11. Changes
We update this notice when practices change. Material updates will be posted with a revised date and, when appropriate, additional notice.
