General Terms
1. Agreement
These General Terms govern access to Surge Fluxon Academy websites, learning platforms, and related materials operated from Japan. By using the services, you agree to these terms. If you disagree, discontinue use.
2. Services Description
We provide professional education content, cohort sessions, mentor feedback, and self-paced materials related to Java engineering. Features may change with notice on this site or by email where appropriate.
3. Accounts and Eligibility
You must provide accurate registration information and safeguard credentials. You represent that you have authority to enroll if registering on behalf of an organization. Learners under 18 require guardian consent where applicable under Japanese law.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not misuse systems, attempt unauthorized access, scrape materials for redistribution, harass staff or learners, or upload unlawful content. We may suspend access for violations after reasonable notice except for urgent risks.
5. Intellectual Property
Curriculum, branding, and platform code remain our property or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to use materials for personal learning during enrollment. Portfolio use of your own work is allowed when it does not disclose confidential cohort materials.
6. Fees and Informational Pricing
Published prices are informational for planning. Invoicing, taxes, and payment timing are confirmed in enrollment agreements or statements of work. No automated checkout implies a completed purchase until confirmed in writing.
7. Disclaimers and Liability
Services are provided as-is to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties where allowable. Our aggregate liability arising from these terms is limited to fees paid for the affected enrollment in the twelve months preceding the claim, except where Japanese law prohibits such caps for consumer claims.
8. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan unless mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction require otherwise. Disputes should first be addressed through support@surge-fluxon.digital; if unresolved, courts in Wakayama, Japan shall have jurisdiction subject to non-waivable consumer rights.
9. Termination and Changes
We may modify terms with reasonable notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Either party may terminate enrollments according to the refund policy and any written agreement. Provisions that should survive will remain in effect.
